COVID 19

This information provides you with all you need to know about procedures in the Covid-19 Protection Framework Traffic Light settings.

The safety, health and wellbeing of everyone is of utmost importance to us.

Under the Covid-19 Protection Framework everyone coming to our hospitals is required to:

  • wear a mask
  • practice good hand hygiene
  • share their Covid-19 vaccination status to help us support their care, but being unvaccinated will not deny you access to care.

Under the Orange Light settings, we ask our patients to be dropped off in the patient parking area, to limit the number of people entering our hospital. Unless the patient is a minor or requires a carer.

Anyone, including patients, should not come to our facility if they feel unwell or have any of the following respiratory infection symptoms:

  • a new or worsening cough
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath
  • head cold symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, nasal drip)
  • muscle aches or fatigue
  • loss of sense of smell
  • a fever

The Government’s official Covid-19 advisory website offers a comprehensive and reliable information resource.
